Neon Trigger
A downloadable game for Windows
You have a pistol, all alone, and have about four seconds.
Neon Trigger is a twin-stick roguelite about being outnumbered on purpose. Up to 200 enemies on the floor at once, on one continuous 6,400-pixel board, and not one of them is a dot with a health bar.
Every enemy is somebody
Seven personalities, rolled the moment a body spawns. A Schemer flanks. A Coward skirmishes at the edge of your range and bolts the moment you turn. A Berserker just comes. You're not fighting two hundred identical shapes — you're fighting two hundred opinions, and they announce themselves out loud.
Nine places, one board
Cracked ice in Cold Start, cable runs down Coil Row, vertebrae along the Spine. Each region with its own ground, its own colour, and its own low hum under the fight. One road sweeps corner to corner and nothing is ever built on it.
Beat the boss, Then decide.
Kill the wall boss and the run doesn't end. It asks. Ascend and start the cycle again — harder, compounding, everything you've built kept entire. The win is banked the moment the boss falls, so ascending can never lose it. How deep are you going?
